Family Pictures

We were lucky enough to have my dear friend Audrey take our family pictures again this year...in the rain! She is an amazing photographer, so talented and truly one of the kindest gals I know! Love her to pieces!

It was hard to narrow down a few to post so here is a bunch!

I love these boys...especially the HOT one in the middle!

ThE HaPpiEsT PLaCe oN EaRth!!

Wishes really do come true!
Since a little girl I've dreamed of going to Disneyland (i was a deprived child I know) and my wish finally came true. It was amazing, everything I dreamed of and more! Everything was so beautiful, everyone was so happy and friendly, and everything so so so fun! I loved watching the kiddos experience it for the first time as well and shhh....watching Steve become as a child again. I now know what they mean when they say, "the happiest place on earth" I Loved it and cannot wait to go back.
Here is a bunch of pictures

If ever there be sure to check out the sweet shop outside of the Winnie the Poo ride. You HAVE to buy a Tigger Tail in there. Oh my goodness, I thought I had died and gone to heaven! It is 4 marshmellows 0n a stick dipped in......nevermind you just have to try one, trust me. But that is the problem you cannot stop at just one! So thanks to my dear friend Michelle B who told me about them, we spent a butt load of money
(and calories) on Tigger Tails!

TinkerBell

Minnie Mouse, my favorite

Jasmine, Steve's favorite

Snow White, Elle's favorite. She was so cute with Elle

Jedi training, Beau's favorite

Bradley did not have a favorite and Abby's favorite was Jack Sparrow but unfortunatly I too was in that picture and it was a really bad picture of me, so therfore I am not sharing that one.

The famous tea cups and Elle's favorite ride

Cool shot Huh?

Alice in Wonderland, no one's favorite

A bunch of my favorite people just getting off California Soaring.
Which by the way, if you are scared of heights as I am, do not attempt this one. It truly was a beautiful ride but I thought I was going to die!

Abigail loves Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas so the Haunted Mansion was a big hit with her. To our surprise Beau loved this one too, he wanted to ride it over and over. Unfortunatly we arrived the day after Jack left the park so instead she just bought a lot of jack stuff.

And we all lived happily ever after.

Santa Monica Beach

This was the kid's first real experience with the beach and ocean and they loved it! We didn't get into Santa Monica till late in the afternoon but thought it would be fun to go and just look at the beach before going to our hotel. Well, as you can see "just looking" was not ok with them, they were in that water before I could even get the words out of my mouth...
"don't get wet"! They were all having the time of their life but Beau was so darn funny. He was so happy that he couldn't contain himself. He was hooting, hollaring, giggling, splashing, shouting for joy and doing cart wheels all up and down the coast. Funny Kid! It was great fun to watch them truly enjoy themselves!

Beau is now a big 6 year old!

Beau turned six while we were in Los Angeles last week.
We decorated the hotel room, played in the ocean and rode bikes on the beaches of Santa Monica, it was a great day.
On our last day in Disneyland Beau was given a pin to wear that announced that he was turning 6. He was so proud to wear it and I loved how every single employee greeted him with a big "Happy Birthday". By the way, I L.O.V.E. Disneyland!

Beau is such a sweet and funny kid. He is a little goof ball and keeps all of us laughing.

Beau is a LEGO lover! He is an amazing builder and can do it for hours. While in Downtown Disney we took him to the LEGO Store to pick out a set for his birthday and he was all smiles the entire time, he was in paradise!

Beau loves Star Wars, video games, playing outside and being with his big brother and his buddies.

We love Beau to pieces because he is so sweet, so hugable, so goofy, so cute and we couldn't live without him!
Happy Birthday Beau!

Photo Tagged!

I have been photo tagged by Natalie and if I understand it right I am suppose to post the fourth picture in my fourth photo album. Boy did I take a walk down memory lane. So, I couldn't help it, I am going to break the rules by sharing the first four photos from my fourth album with you.
Picture #1
Our home in Colorado. This was the view from every window on the back of our house. I love those beautiful Rocky Mountains and that is Downtown Denver way in the background.

Picture # 2
Couldn't show the back without showing the front.
Picture #3
A little party with our great friends before we left. This was just a few weeks before Elle was born, before Steve started his job in NYC and before we left Colorado. It was insane! Note to self and others. Do not try to sell a house, pack up and clean a house, give birth and move out of the state all in less than a two month period!!

Look at little baby Beau-Beau. I get so sentimential when I look at old pictures. But it is good because it reminds me just how fast time really goes by and that is why I need to appreciate and enjoy each new day.
Enjoy the Journey
just like our dear Prophet again reminded us to do this past Conference?

Picture #4

I tag the wives of these hunky men. If you can claim one of these guys then it is your turn to post the fourth picture from your fourth album and take us down memory lane with you. I swear red walls was the in thing 5 years ago!!

(Christina, i love the guilty look on Brandon's face!)

29 degrees and a pumpkin patch

29 degrees! Again, that love/hate relationship with the sport. Yes, that IS frozen grass that cut up the legs of each player that went down.
That dearly loved stubborn child of mine would not bundle up! I begged, I bribed, I pleaded but nope, he did not give in. I know all the other mothers thought I had to be the worst mom ever to let their child play in this kind of weather without the proper attire. After seeing tears in his eyes I could not take it anymore, I threw those dane gloves at him on the field which almost embrassed him to death. Well, just like they always say in those Love and Logic classes, Natural Consequences. He cried in pain the whole way home and so I hope the natural consequence of him choosing not to wear his winter uniform will help next time...but he is the most stubborn child I know, so we will see.

And this is what that 29 degree day did to my garden/pumpkin patch.

And this is my 4 pumpkins at a real pumpkin patch. I love Linder Farms!!

DISNEYLAND 11 more days!!! I am so giddy!
Time to change the blog tunes to help prepare.

My 3 soccer studs

I have this love/hate relationship with each soccer season. I love the sport and watching my boys play but boy does it zap a lot of time and energy.
This is Beau's first season and he has caught on really well.
Bradley has moved up to a select team and it has been great. But that now means 3-4 practices a week (that are clear across town), goalie training, games all over the place, more $$, and amazing coaches and training.
Yes, that is Bradley in that goalie box. My heart does not leave my throat until his 30 minutes are up and he is out of there. He does a really good job but can be really hard on himself so it makes this mama stress.
He has a great coach and team and so far they are undefeated.
Go Boise Capitals!
He chose to be #23. Yes, Beckham #23 and there was no pressure from his mom I promise.
What is it about a man in a soccer uniform (or 1/2 a uniform)?
The other day Bradley told me that his 6 pack was better then Beckham's.
Sorry sweetie, I don't think so.

(Love you too Steve)

Back to school...Halleluliah

Oh how I love my children but oh how I love that school bell when it rings on the first day of school each year.
Abby and Bradley were very excited and Beau was like whatever, a take it or leave it attitude. That is so like him and he came home saying it was so boring!
I have now sent off 3 kids to Kindergarten and yes I always get that lump in my throat but I will tell you what, that does not even compare to how hard it was to send Abigail off to her first year of High School. I believe I am the first of my friends with a high schooler (weird) so no one warned me. I was not prepared for the emotions that overcame me as I said goodbye to her and watched her walk hesitantly across the parking lot into those doors. Not only was there a lump the size of Montana in my throat but the tears were flowing like Niagara Falls! Where did that tiny little blonde hair girl go? Where did the time go? Have we taught her enough to keep her safe these next few years? Only four more years till she is college bond and knowing how fast they will go by kills me....and on and on. So to my friends, bring those tissues when that day comes to send them onto High School.

And another Halleluliah moment...no early morning seminary!

Bad mom, I did not get any pictures of Elle on her first day of Preschool. Of course that is the day my battery dies and the charger is no where to be found.
So, who was I trying to kid when I kept telling myself that things would calm down as soon as everyone is back in school? Did I forget that along with school starting back up so does ALL the extra activities. Soccer, and soccer and more soccer, violin, scouts, dance, piano, mutual, and all their homework and social lifes and the painful early mornings. Thank goodness for Diet Coke!

Baby Elle Kinsey

Just a few pictures of baby Elle. I love the one of my two babies sleeping. (beau was 1 when elle was born) I thought the long days of having two babies would last forever but just 4 short years later I have no babies left. How quickly they grow and everything changes. Can you tell that I am having a hard time accepting the fact that I have no more babies? But, not so hard that I am willing to do it again though. WHEW!

Our 4 year old girl

Ok this is so late...I am a horrible mom. Elle turned 4 on July 20th and I am just now getting to posting this. The other two kiddos had their posting done ON their birthday, see bad, bad mom.
It is hard to believe our baby is hardly a baby anymore.
We love her to pieces!
ELLE BELLE
We love how...
You are always so happy. By just watching Elle you can tell that she is just so happy and content and truly enjoys life.
You're always singing a little song while playing.
You are tiny but mighty.
You think you are the boss of your dad and two older brothers.
You are a complete daddy's girl.
You love to wear your dress up clothes everyday. Ok, I really don't love that but it makes you who you are.
You are so sweet and tender. Always ready with loves, kisses and hugs.
You are a true princess through and through.
You are a true delight and we feel very blessed that you are part of our family.
Elle, you make mommy and daddy very happy!
Happy Birthday sweet girl!
